Rapa Nui is the second name of Easter Island. It is considered the most remote inhabited island in the world. There is no Wi-Fi in the hotels, the signal from local TV operators is very weak and there is only one place in the city center with free public Internet.

When approaching Santiago, be prepared to see the snow-capped peaks of the Andes. The capital is surrounded by mountains on almost all sides. We enjoyed the sunsets, which painted everything in a Martian red light.
