Shenzhen Travel Guide

What to do in Shenzhen for 2-3 days
Shenzhen is a global hub for technology, design, and entrepreneurship, known as China's "Silicon Valley." In just a few decades, it transformed from a modest fishing village into a futuristic metropolis, now ranking among the top 3 economic leaders in mainland China. It is in Shenzhen that the headquarters of many tech giants such as Huawei, Tencent, and DJI are based.
Shenzhen has become a world leader in the implementation of electric transport. 8 out of 10 new cars registered here are electric. Public transport, along with taxis, has also been completely converted to electric power for a long time. The pleasant quietness and lack of exhaust fumes are a real gift for residents and tourists.
And despite the fact that Shenzhen is not the most popular tourist destination in China, it can certainly offer a couple of days of vibrant and memorable holiday experiences.

The central element of the complex is the huge cruise ship "Minghua", which has been transformed into a unique hotel and entertainment center and is permanently "docked" in the middle of the square.
The space around the ship is filled with an atmosphere of international celebration: dozens of bars and restaurants with cuisines from all over the world are concentrated here, making Sea World a favorite destination for tourists and expats.

The park features over 100 miniature replicas of China's most famous historical and natural attractions, scaled at 1:15. We thoroughly enjoyed renting a golf cart and using the park as an interactive map to choose what we would fly to see in China next time!
The ticket price also includes cultural shows (which take place several times a day). These musical performances showcase the folk costumes, songs, and dances of various ethnic groups in China.
This park features about 150 miniature replicas of famous architectural and cultural wonders of the world. In addition, light shows are held there, and you can ride amusement rides (disposable waterproof overalls are provided for water rides).
We didn't miss the opportunity to purchase a "citizen of the world" passport. We happily spent about 20 minutes studying the flags of countries and placing the appropriate stamps on each page.
Visiting this noodle shop was a truly authentic and satisfying gastronomic experience! We must admit, we haven't tasted handmade noodles with such a perfect consistency and structure in a very long time.
By the way, don't worry about the food being too spicy. Just tell the waiter when ordering that you need non-spicy versions of the dishes. People in China are accustomed to tourists and react appropriately to requests to change the spice level.

The key advantage of all airports in China is their integration with the metro. Shenzhen Airport is no exception: you can quickly get to the central districts of the city via the express line.
Despite the convenience of the metro, we also note that taxis in China are very cheap, and drivers always use a meter during trips. You can not worry at all about being cheated.

Shenzhen is not traditional China, but its flawless future. By visiting this city, you won't find an abundance of ancient palaces, but you will see how technology, architecture, and nature harmoniously coexist.
Don't be afraid to go to China! It is an amazing country that lives one step ahead of the rest of the world.
The skyscraper is located in the central business district of Futian, which is densely built up with modern high-rises. It is considered the "showcase" of Shenzhen. Major shopping centers, brand stores, fine dining restaurants, bars, and nightclubs are concentrated here.
On the 116th floor of the skyscraper (~562 meters) is the "Free Sky 116" observation deck. High-speed elevators take you to the top in less than a minute. The observation deck offers a 360° view of the city. They say that on a clear day, you can even see Hong Kong on the horizon.
