Which countries can apply for India e-visa

Tourists can obtain double-entry e-visa to India, valid for 30 days from the date of first entry into the country, or visas valid for 1 year or 5 years, which allow a stay in India of up to 180 days per year, but no more than 90 days per single trip.

How to apply for India e-visa on your own

Step 1 - Fill out the visa application form

It is better to fill out the visa application form after you have accurately determined the dates of the trip, the cities visited and the accommodation.

Go to the site with the application

Step 2 – Pay for India e-visa

After filling out the form, you will be automatically transferred to the payment page. We chose to pay via Axis Bank, international cards Visa/MasterCard are accepted.

Step 3 – Receive an electronic confirmation of the India e-visa by email

A few days after the payment, the result will be sent to the email address indicated in the application: whether permission to enter India has been granted or not.

Step 4 – Print your e-visa before entering India

It is not written anywhere about the need to have a printed version of an electronic visa with you, but before the flight at the check-in, we were told that a printout would be needed when passing through the Indian border. Do this just in case, so that you can enter India without any problems.
